1. What Data We Collect

For the application to function correctly, we collect the following data:
Account Data: Name, email, and securely encrypted (hashed) password.
Trip Content and Itinerary: Names and addresses of accommodation, prices, booking links, itinerary points, and photographs uploaded by you.
Location: GPS coordinates that you save yourself (e.g., Parking feature).
Invitations: Email addresses of persons to whom you send an invitation to the application.
SOS Card (Sensitive Data): Optionally, you can fill in name, emergency phone, text notes, and health data (blood type, allergies). Health data falls under a special category of personal data according to GDPR. By filling out the SOS card, you give us explicit consent to store them.

2. How We Use the Data

Your data is used exclusively to ensure the functionality of the application – so that your itinerary can be shared with your friends and you have key information at hand on your travels. We never sell data to third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, and completely delete your data ("the right to be forgotten"). You can delete your account and all associated data simply in your profile settings in the application, or contact us at our support email support@mate4go.eu.
